Call for Participants: Forced Transfer Experience from College Closure
Are you a student who has been impacted by a college closure? Were you forced to transfer as a result of your college closing while you were an undergraduate student?
Do you know someone who was impacted by a forced college closure? A son? Daughter? Friend? Colleague?
If you or someone you know was a students impacted by a college closure, forced to transfer to another college from 2016 - present, we want to talk to you!
Dr. Philip Gardner and I are excited to continue our research on undergraduate students’ experiences as a result of having to transfer from one college to another due to institution closure (IRB: 20182019-48). If you are or were a college student forced to transfer institutions since 2016 (termed Forced Transfer) because at the time of your academic studies the college you were attending closed, you are eligible to participate in this study. If you meet this criterion, consider participating using the link below.
Participation is via 1-1 interview online, lasting approximately 45 minutes and is completely voluntary. Compensation of a $10 Dunkin Donuts gift card will be provided for your time.
Share your forced transfer experience by scheduling a Zoom interview. Questions or concerns can be directed to Dr. Heather N. Maietta, firstname.lastname@example.org
